EconSight Technologies for Sustainable Finance Technology at the Building Bridges Summit in Geneva
EconSight CTO Jochen Spuck presented our new findings on novel technology-based sustainable finance data at the Building Bridges Summit in Geneva.
The event, together with experts from Pictet, Ram Active Investments, RepRisk, Conser Invest, and CPEG, focused on sustainable finance data and technology, with the goal of providing investors and NGOs with actionable knowledge on novel ESG data and tools that can be applied to track companies’ environmental and social footprints such as natural language processing, spatial data and life cycle assessment.
EconSight showed a new approach on how to overcome current patent classification problems in WIPO and EPO green patent data. In addition, EconSight presented a new rating system which focuses on the green impact of a company compared to the competitive environment instead of just green activity.
