EconSight presented the results from the new study for the Bavarian Industry Association at the Ludwig-Erhard-Summit, the «Geman Davos» in May 2025.

This study uses patent analysis to examine global research activities in key process technologies and their significance for major future technology fields. The results highlight the technological leadership of China, the United States and Japan. Germany is well positioned but needs to gain momentum in order to remain competitive internationally.
