Blackrock launches Lithium & Battery Producers ETF based on EconSight’s advanced technology and patent expertise
The new BlackRock iShares Lithium & Battery Producers UCITS ETF (LITM) tracks the STOXX Global Lithium and Battery Producers index comprised of lithium mining, compound manufacturing and lithium battery production companies. These companies, or components of their business lines, are expected to benefit from the global trend towards electric vehicles (EVs) and renewable energy storage, which, in the future, may have a substantial impact on their performance.
EconSight has worked closely with Qontigo and Blackrock on the development of the index to identify the most relevant companies in the Lithium & Battery Producer theme. The index relies on EconSight technologies, High Quality Patents, and Specialization Score methodology to select the top companies. All technologies were developed by EconSight.
The index comprises 60 global companies (as of 31. December 2024).
